HEALTH ASSISTANT

This position is based in Bath.  Responsibilities include maintaining accurate, up-to-date computerized individual health records on Head Start children and compiling data to document, monitor and evaluate services.  With training, position will include conducting health/developmental screenings on 0-5 year-old children.  Qualifications:  Associate degree in Health, medical assistant degree or certificate, or related area preferred; comparable experience in related field may be substituted for formal education.  Medical terminology proficiency preferred.  Proficiency in data entry and word processing required.  Ability to organize and prioritize tasks required.  Travel is required.  Full time, full year position.  Open until position filled.
 

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER

EDUCATION SPECIALIST

The Mid-Coast Maine Resource Development Center provides services in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties. 

The Education Specialist is responsible for delivering Resource Development Center-approved career development and professional training program and on-site consultation to area child care providers.  Requirements:  Masters degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; five years experience in early childhood field; registered trainer with Maine Roads to Quality; five years experience in training and supervising professional activities; excellent oral/written communication skills; knowledge of early care and education accreditation programs, CDA credentialing; computer proficiency and experience.  Travel in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties required.  Position is full time.  Open until position filled.
